    This has certainly made life easier in regards to scheduling and invoicing. It has the convenience of being able to do most of the admin features without having to have a laptop constantly present, as the app is pretty functional. It definitely has area for improvement, as I’ve suggested a few things and those improvements are primarily integrations for the mobile app. (As i mentioned before the app does not do everything a computer can, but hopefully some day— sooner than later—it will.) P.S.- also, on another note. Working with their staff has been amazing. They show initiative, are quick to respond (during business hours) and have gone the extra mile on a number of occasions. I know that I will be using them for many years to come.

    I love it! I’m a small one men operation at the moment with some occasional subs but nevertheless it’s very useful. Once you set up your line items and parts list prices, filling out invoices and generating quotes are a breeze. It looks very professional in the customers eyes and it definitely puts you above other companies who aren’t using any type of dispatching software. With Housecall pro I noticed customers are less hesitant to dispute pricing, collecting payment is a breeze and it’s less headache for the technician. Data tracking so far has been great, keeping track of pending invoices, who has paid and who hasn’t is easy to track. The truth is any good dispatching software can help the owner, field and office personal. I’m yet to try them all and I’m yet to master Housecall pro, however onto my third month with Housecall pro I can confidently say “ I don’t need to try any other dispatching software, Housecall pro works for me”.

    Unless you want to be stuck over a computer screen instead of in the field, this is not the software for you. Have had it for 6 months and me and my team still can’t use it. A total waste of my time and money

    I’m not one to write many reviews, but HouseCall Pro has been incredible for managing our small plumbing business! From appointment management to invoicing - our customers love it and we love it. And the review generation has been the best part. We struggled with asking for reviews, and now it is an automated part of our workflow and it works. 100% recommend this service to any small service industry business.

    The app is slow, the payment process is super glitchy, and their customer service is atrocious! If you are serious about having great customer care, don’t trust these people with your customer’s needs. The online booking always conflicts with the manually scheduled appointments. I tried to call customer care, but there’s no way to get ahold of a live person. I’m very frustrated with this company.

    they send link to housecall pro app(with links to other contractors) to you customers. they include this link in every text email notification customer receives. all estimates and job details have link to download housecall pro app as well. it makes you look like you work for housecall pro. You simply help them to get their foot to your customers door and you pay them monthly to do it.

    The software itself is very good without a doubt. It’s easy to use, and it has a ton of features you can access through your phone which is a plus. I found it to be perfect, with one major flaw which I don’t think will be changed any time soon. The reason for the one star, is because as I was using the software and testing it out, it became very clear that they’re focused on branding themselves around your business (not actually helping you branding your business) and promoting themselves to your clients. There’s little to no options for customization and I think that it’s purposely this way. It can’t be that they haven’t figured it out, I was using a cheap startup software before that had all options for customization figured out. Now I’m looking to upgrade to something better but those basic features seem to be lacking.

    Medium size plumbing company with five employees using this system barely works Housecall Pro I believe is for something like a washing company or a chimney sweeping company or a gutter cleaning window cleaning type company simple it works very well for that but for a service and repair company like a plumber or HVAC or electrician this system will just frustrate you it’s a plug and play one-size-fits-all system. Be aware don’t even get me started on how horrible this system integrate with QuickBooks it simply does not recognize desktop version whatsoever you have to be online QuickBooks and that is a total nightmare if you want any accuracy whatsoever with your bookkeeping. This is a good program to get a brand new companies feet wet but you will soon learn it is hugely lacking in feature in function. But if you have nothing meaning you’re still operating with pieces of paper and Posty notes and all kinds of crap like that this will be better than that.

    Glitches, slow load times, unreliable when trying to save jobs, updating appointment times has to be done like 3 times in a row before it saves, the massager showed unread messages but now where or from who and won’t clear, the % they charge for credit cards seems outrageous when you take into account how much the yearly fee is.

    Hey Guys. Great app. Just would like to be able to change the color of the lettering on the scheduling. When I have a lot of jobs all mashed up on the same time window the letters drift off into back ground and it’s almost impossible to read when it’s white on almost white background.

    I’m not really a fan of this app , there is too much technical/ programming issues than a business owner can keep up with especially when their customer service is not helpful at all .

    This app works pretty good as far as scheduling and dispatch. The worst part in the new version is it doesn’t NOT save pictures or attachments taken within the app in the field. Initially they are there, but when you close or finish the call they disappear! You only realize this when you go back later to find attachments blank! Taking them with your phone, and then attaching works, but also sometimes does not. There is also no way to clear history. For example, I took over company from previous owner and can not erase his old data even though it’s not correct, never sold, nothing due as far as payables, so it renders the accounting part of app useless because my AR and AP is all screwed up! All I asked them for was to delete any calls prior to 2/10/2019, and to maintain the customer base. Or I’ll download the customers info and import again, minus any transactions prior to 2/10/2019. No such luck . Lastly, it is EXTREMELY SLOW at times making it frustrating when busy. Locks up often forcing you to restart app. Needs work guys!!
