Can't say enough good about this app. I don't use it very often but when I do, it has worked flawlessly. Not only that but it is extremely easy to use

Chose the trail option. Then asked for my credit card, and immediately took 90.00. Tried over several days to caontact them for refund. No customer number, emails not answered. Complete UK scammers. Probably from the Midlands -- that pathetic island's armpit
  • YIKES! Dont USE!

I tried a fax that went through but was illegible by the recipient. I tried to cancel the service through both the app & itunes but so far there is no confirmation that it cancelled. Tried to send a message through their support but it bounced back with an error. How do I make sure its cancelled so they don't charge me?! Yikes! Stay away! (I'll try to update if I get confirmation that it cancelled & I didn't get charged.)
  • Over billing

I purchsed this app to send 1 fax and now I have been charged multiple times on an account I have closed. A total of $150.00 from charging 2 credit cards one for $99.00 for a yearly subscription and the other card has been billed $25.00 for 2 monthly subscriptions. Beware there is no customer services working on getting me these refunds.
  • Worked once and then would not connect again

I paid $19.99 to send one fax in the end because the app would not allow me to connect or sign in again even when I deleted and reinstalled the app. Very frustrating!
  • Recieving faxes works well.

I use this to be able to recieve faxes. I wish I could send and recieve FINE resolution instead of just STANDARD. iFAX resolution is only standard level but barely adequate for what I need. I can recieve faxes at work or at home on an iMac.
  • great service but too expensive

  • BEWARE!

I signed up for the free trial and could NOT cancel. It kept saying my email needed to be verified. I contacted tech support and they gave me a link… the same link I had just tried that wouldn’t let me in! After that, they would not respond even with repeated efforts. I kept getting emails from Zendesk saying, “Your case is solved.” I worked on contacting them for 6 days without success and then I was charged for it! Not at all responsive to support requests.
  • Please don't fall for SCAM

Please follow my advice. The 7 day free trial isn't. The app allowed me to send one fax successfully before diasbling my trial because of violation of the terms and conditions, which they then provided to me. The only violation possible is "spamming" which I don't possibly understand how 2 faxes constitutes spamming. They were then unwilling to reactivate my account because of a misunderstanding. The first fax failed 4 times before successfully sending, so even if I only wanted to send the one, I'd consider the trial period a failure. The second fax, I attempted to send a dozen times or so. Each time it wanted me to purchase credits to send a fax. Find a different fax app. This one, while it may work, is not as advertised and not helpful.
  • Beware of in-app charges!

The "free-trial" is not free at all! Upon setting up your first fax, you are required to select a "price per page plan" before it will send--total cost $49! Total deception!
  • DO NOT TRY!! Predeatory and deceptive cancellation policy

I did the Free Trial for 3 days and it worked great. Then decided I didn't need it and went to cancel. The council links in the app looks simple so I did them. My subscription wasn't canceled it was downgraded to a lower one when I open the app to check what it happened. From that point I tried to cancel again and it has the same result. At one point I was directed to the Apple Music App where I found the original subscription and a second one still active. I canceled both and re-launched a iFax. It shows my original subscription still active. Predatory deceptive and straight up dishonest is my opinion of this company at this point. I have five days left to get my subscription canceled and will try everything else that I can come up with. Do not try this app.

  • Can only do subscription

This shows an option to buy credits and fax without a subscription. I puchased credits to send a fax but it still will not let me send it without doing the “free trial” subscription. I want to use my credits to pay for my faxes as I go….without a monthly fee. This is very misleading!!!
  • Misleading or Broken?

    1
    By jjm390
I was looking forward to send as many faxes as I wanted free for 7 days, as advertised, but when you actually try to send a fax, you cannot proceed without buying credits, even though the interface says I have unlimited credits. I might try again in the future if this is ever fixed.

Run from this thing. I bought $9.99 worth of credits and tried to fax over some important papers. IFax did not recognize that I had credits and prompted me to buy more! Not only did I find the $9.99 charge on my card, but two $.99 charges back to back. Their support is a joke and non-responsive. I am disputing the charges with my bank.

It's a total scam rip off. They nickel and dime you for every call. I downloaded it and already want to cancel it before I used it. Don't waste your time.
  • DBPR Fax to License dept SO EASY

    By 2020 Broker Lady V
I had to get 5 pages to Dept via fax. I was going to send from a postal service and pay per page. I decided to "try" It was EASIER than sending an email. I won't go through the machine, land line, or anymore old fashioned ways! I'm trying to be as "paperless" as possible, this was done in less than 2 minutes with no hassle!!GREAT Product. I rarely ever need to fax but if I do I will buy the program, the first 7 days are free! Victoria Lara Broker
  • Pay for Credits AND Subscription

I need to send a 60 page fax TODAY. First, I tried trial, then the 24.99 monthly subscriptions and apparently, that does not include unlimited faxes as advertised. Then I purchased 19.99 worth or credits only to have ifax say the number is invalid (it's a verified valid number). Credits were used for an invalid number. The free trial does not work.

Free 7-day trial isn't free. Despite cancelling was billed $99 through Paypal--and also another $24.99 through Apple apps store. Emailed vendor (UK based) through Customer Support on website and have not received a response.

  • Offer a free trial and then make it next-to-impossible to get out of it

    1
    By TimothyKarr
I took up IFax's offer of a free trial but quickly determined that it is a service that I would not use often enough to justify the expence. I have been trying to terminate my free trial but find it next-to-impossible to do that. There is no clear process via the iFax user interface. I suspect that this is intentional. Don't use this service unless you enjoy being trapped into paying their monthly charges.
  • nothing is free about this free trial!!!!

  • update to my previous review, this app is terrible

    By markbemark
I love this app, it’s easy to use, cheap and works when I need it. I highly recommend it. update: this app is terrible. I have credits. I have already purchased credits. It forces me to buy more credits every single time I want to send a fax. It will NOT let me use the credits I've already purchased. It is a terrible app that I plan to delete. I am tired to trying to figure out why it will not let me use the credit's I've already purchased.
  • SCAM! BEWARE!!!

Apple would do well to remove this app from the platform. It is, simply put, a scam. It does not work as advertised and it is nearly impossible to cancel. Messages to the developer go unanswered. Multiple requests to "sign up" and "log in" if you just want to cancel. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!!
  • Beware, SCAMMERS

    By AAllgoode
I tried several times to sign up for the free trial, and after multiple attempts realized they set up another subscription where they tried to charge me $170 dollars. Their privacy policy says they don't monitor the content of the faxes, but who knows if that's true. Had to contact Apple support to remove the subscriptions. Just head down to your local FedEx, it's way less headache.

Here's how to unsubscribe from iFax in 11 easy steps: (1) Find the option to unsubscribe within iFax, follow a few prompts. (2) Once you think you've unsubscribed, the app will inform you that, actually, you can't unsubscribe within the app; at best you can only convert down to a $10/month plan. To fully unsubscribe, you'll have to log into the iFax website. (3) Log into the iFax website. Find the deeply buried unsubscribe option after at least a few minutes of fishing around. (4) Demand repeatedly to unsubscribe. Only once you've confirmed that you really want to unsubscribe a third or fourth time, the website will inform you that, actually, you have to use iTunes to unsubscribe. (5) Open iTunes. Discover that there is no longer an option to unsubscribe within iTunes. ---Now here's how to actually do it--- (6) Open system preferences (7) Select Apple ID, and log in if necessary (8) Select "Media and Purchases" from the lower left column (9) Select the "Manage..." button next to "Subscriptions" (10) Find iFax in your list of subscriptions, and select "Edit" on the right hand side. (11) Unsubscribe for real now.

The UI needs some work. Hard to read very small and faint and needs better left/right scroll. But got my job done at good price. Hey, iFax helped me complete an important financial transaction. VERY happy.

You sued to be able to write comments in the ocmment section of the fax cover sheet, now it only allows you to draw a signature. Often will not accept a properly formatted TO Fax number. Takes forever to get support.
