    Can’t see all employees on schedule. Also not getting notifications anymore. Also please take off ridiculous rate your shift option... who in their right mind thought that was a good idea??!!
  • Good but could be better

    It’s very convenient to have the app on my phone but it’s very frustrating to not be able to see previously scheduled days at all. It’d also be nice that if you work for multiple companies that use HotSchedules (like I have before) if you could swap between them by linking your accounts instead of having to completely log out and back in. I’d also like push notifications on my phone for shift drop and swap request and approvals.

    This app is great in theory but in reality it’s garbage. If you can actually log in immediately take a screenshot of your schedule because god knows if you will be able to login again without receiving some sort of error.

    This is probably one of the worst apps on the AppStore solely because of how widely it is used, what it is used for(considering it’s work and very important and time sensitive), combined with how it decides to never work. I’ve had the app for about 2 years now and I’ve had to delete and redone load about 10 times in hopes that it will fix the problem. Never does. Would not use this app another day if it it was up to me. And here I am again. Once again let me say it is a home how poorly this app works. It never functions when I need it to. By far one of the worst apps I have on my phone.

    WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GONNA FIX THE FACT THAT SCHEDULES ARE BLANK?!?! My schedule keeps popping up as blank. I have to click on every single individual day to see what time im scheduled. It is so tedious and annoying! A lot of people I know are having this same issue. Fix this asap. This is a paid for app!

    Please! Hot schedules! Get it together! It’s been a few weeks that it just goes inactive out of nowhere! When we need it most because as a manager reopening our restaurant and adding people back to schedule and then all of a sudden it deactivates our store! Please stop messing up and fix it for good.

    My coworker released their shift for me to pick up, but the released shift is not showing up on my app. I had my other coworkers check, and they can see the released shift. I updated the app, I uninstalled and reinstalled it, I’ve refreshed it repeatedly. The app just stopped working on my iPad, so I put it on my phone, and again, it’s already not working.

    I have used hotschedules for two of my jobs now and honestly lately it has been the most unreliable app out there. It went 3 days with our loading and not working and it doing it again today. Personally don’t want to use it anymore but I kinda need my schedule

    This app constantly crashes with every update. It has its moments of fluidity, but it usually takes way too long too load or it just completely freezes. I have a new phone and I keep it updated. This is my first and only review on the App Store. That’s how bad it is.

    Been using HotSchedules through my work for years now... always slow. Always laggy. Sometimes won’t even load up. Such a joke, especially for a PAID app. I wish so badly my work would dump this steaming pile of app and get a different one, or go back to traditional paper schedule. Yes, a paper schedule would be better than this hot mess.

    I can’t interchange between each of the stores I work at to view my schedule for the store I have a schedule at. Should be a drop box next to the store name and number at the top. It appears sometimes but not all. Very inconvenient.

    It has some bugs that I’ve noticed. I’ve had it for about two years now and it has been working nicely. I keep it updated as much as possible. But now, whenever someone drops a shift, it’s not showing up. And I’ve got a friend, they’ve tried posting her schedule three times and it’s showing she doesn’t work at all on everyone’s schedule.

    BE AWARE - after they raised the rates for the 2nd time in a year, I told them I was going with another scheduling service (which I did over a year ago - and it is less than 1/2 their price). They did not inform me I needed 30 days notice (but it was the month prior-the same day they notified me of the rate increase). Then I moved to the new scheduling program & informed them when I was switched over. They took another months bill from my bank account without auth and refused to refund it stating now that they needed a 30 day notice. My bank took back the money from them and Hotschedules is still trying to take funds from my account without auth - over a year later. Which is THEFT. Watch your bills, watch their constant rate increases, and watch your bank account after you find a better & less expensive service.
