    Somewhat great app, great desktop experience. But the price is too high for people just starting out or who don’t have a large clientele. Make a smaller cheaper version. Also work on including an online gallery for an all in one experience. That’s worth $40 a month.

    I’m in the middle of responding to clients. I have the entire email typed out and switch apps to check something...AND THE HONEYBOOK APP REFRESHES AND THE ENTIRE EMAIL IS GONE. This has happened three times today. This isn’t Instagram where they constantly feel the need to refresh the feed. This is an app I use to run my business which requires a lot of multitasking. What’s the point of even using the app?!?

    When I started my business it was important for me to automate my processes and streamline as much as I could. HONEYBOOK literally changed my business! Now I’m full-time and people often ask me what software I use because it’s organized and easy to navigate. The only thing I struggled with was the scheduling - if you have a project in queue with dates set then you’re not able to override that day. It will make you completely unavailable. However I spoke to support (who was so great btw!) and they’re adding it to a list of features they can work to resolve. It’s great knowing that a company is receptive to feedback especially when it benefits the customer. Never planning to use another CRM too again as long as I’ve got HoneyBook.

    I love everything about this app except the iPad version which is really just the mobile version scaled down for the iPad. You would think with how many professionals are utilizing their iPad to work that they would make a fully functioning iPad friendly version of this app. I have seen other people say the same yet I haven’t seen any progress towards creating an iPad compatible app.

    I love honeybook. Absolutely awesome and so incredibly helpful. The only reason I didn’t go with 5 stars is due to the extended amount of time it takes to receive a transfer in payment. Hopefully homeybook is in the process of addressing this but it take multiple days to receive a payment when PayPal,Venmo, etc allow you to receive it immediately.

    I am obsessed with this website! I am on it everyday sending out invoices, contracts and just chatting with my clients. It is the perfect place for all of your photography needs. From bookkeeping to having your calendar organized and one clip away. I highly recommend this website!

    When I signed with this platform, I was told that I can cancel any time and received prorate. Nope! I write a few times - nobody answered. Today they charged me for the next year - I will dispute!

    The app has a bug and it’s seriously so annoying! When I go to send the invoice email to my client in the app I get an error every time- but if I switch to safari mode I can do it no problem. What the heck? This program is actually pretty expensive for bugs like that. When I asked the customer service about it they responded by saying I can’t send invoices via app but it let me do it when I first got the app.

    I love this app, it’s an essential part of my business. With the introduction of the iPad Pro 12.9 inch and the accompanying Magic Keyboard I’ve been able to take MOST of my admin responsibility to the iPad Pro. I can code on the iPad Pro, I can edit photos on the iPad Pro - but I can’t send out proposals and contracts on the iPad Pro unless I use HoneyBook from the web (which I’ve been doing.) I’ll be changing from 3-stars to 5-stars once iPad support is introduced.

    Is there something going on? I did the update and the app isn’t working. I click to open it and it just crashes. I’ve restarted my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I’ve been doing these daily updates and still have the same problem. Hoping this issue is resolved quickly!

    I love Honeybook on the computer but hate it as the app on my iPad. It gets stuck constantly, and there are many features that I’m not able to use.

    Love the idea of the app, but there is still a lot to work on. After the most recent update I am not able to send invoices through my phone anymore, I just push send on the page with email and attached invoice but nothing happens. Please fix asap!

    I have had HoneyBook for about 4-5 years. I have even temporarily left and tried other services and came back to them. I purchased the lifetime subscription because it really makes tracking my workflows and sending contracts, invoices etc easy and looking professional with the templates. There’s so many reasons but just sign up!!

    As a wedding photographer I've tried almost every client management system for my business over the past 10 years. Almost all of them lacked a mobile app. This was a huge issue for me. As a photographer I'm always on the go and sometimes need to quickly reference a clients details, contract, invoice or questionnaires. With the HB app, I'm always to do all of that quickly and efficiently and I never have to go to some clunky web app instead. Aside from that - The app & software continues to update monthly with new features aimed to help my business grow and succeed. I'm over the moon and so thankful for the HB team. Without them, I wouldn't be able to do 90% of business on the go. If you're a small business owner, definitely check out HoneyBook for your one stop shop for your business. You won't regret it.

    As a wedding and portrait photographer, I cannot live without HoneyBook. This program is the best office assistant I could ever ask for! Aside from the ease of use, the team is always on hand to promptly answer questions as they arise. I’ve tried other CRM softwares but they are difficult. HoneyBook is SO EASY TO USE!!!!

    I will start by saying, yes I have the most updated version. I have had this app to run my wedding rental business for years. In 2019 Honeybook started improving the features. This basically became a year of creating features that didn’t need to exist and are frustrating time wasters. The previous app was missing a few perks, but ran FAR better and was easier to zip through maintaining client relations. (I have 123 clients) Example - now when you send an email to the client there is a banner that comes down and says sent- covering the “done” button. You have to wait for it to go away to move on. It’s useless. You can look down at the thread and it says unread- so you know it as sent or unsent.. There is now a subject requirement. If I wanted to type a subject it would be in there. Email has existed for decades, I don’t need a reminder to add a subject. The curser does not automatically start in the email window. You have to tap NUMEROUS times to be able to start an email. Hugely frustrating. When you email a client, it does not load the first template, which should be the default (there is no way to choose a default template either) so you are wasting more time finding the inquiry template to send to a client when they inquire instead of getting more done. Finally in the app there should be, but isn’t, a developer button for this feedback so when there are updates they are ones that truly save time, and people don’t have to rant here. The pluses: a thread to keep all the client emails together. Easy way to send proposals, contracts and bills. Easy payments for clients. Cost $400 a year for this service.

    I seriously don’t know what I’d do without honeybook. I can send questionnaires, proposals and messages through the app. I receive and track payments and can chart progress. If Honeybook starts to improve the proposal feature in a way that allows for more photos and stem counts like Details they’ll literally be unstoppable. I recommend to all my floral students.

    It states it is compatible with iPad yet only shows in portrait mode and has to be enlarged. This is hard when you are using it on an iPad with a keyboard that stays in landscape mode. This app does not function properly with iPad so should not state it does. The app for the iPhone is okay and the actual website is great. I hope they fix this to actually work on a iPad. It would make working on the go so much easier.

    We used to be able to swipe left on a message and mark it as unread so we could get to it later. Now that’s not an option and it’s really inconvenient. Also I would LOVE to be able to search phone numbers in the search bar and have a phone number match with a project.

    The long and the short of it is that the app is helpful for quick glances at notifications, but it’s not yet there for full-time mobile use. I have to be connected to WiFi to see anything, not all features are available on mobile (i.e. editing a file for resending to client), and it’s kind of “clunky.” We love using HoneyBook, though, so I look forward to a long, happy relationship. As long as updates and features keep getting rolled out...
